KCAA Relay Champs

Updated: Sep 26, 2019

Well done to all of our FJAC athletes who turned up for the Kent Relay Championships on Sunday - it was a grey day but the rain luckily held off and we had some great runs with a medal position and some new club records!

Our under 13 girls 3 x 800m relay team Jenny, Emily and Emma were bronze medallists in a time of only 8.28.3 breaking the 2014 3 x 800m record by more than 13 seconds! Great job girls!

The under 13 girls Jenny, Ellie, Emma and Lilly-Ella also ran in the u13 girls 4 x 100m coming 5th in their heat, against very strong opposition.

Our under 15 girls Catrina, Caitlin, Maisie and Grace raced in the 4 x 200m and came 5th in the final! The girls heat time of 1.58.0 broke the club record set in 2017 by 9 seconds.

The girls also ran in the 4 x 300m coming 6th in a straight final in a time of 3.13.2 setting another club record by 7 seconds (2017).

Well done to everyone involved, once again doing Folkestone RC proud!
