GDPR- Update Regulations
We are updating our privacy and communication records and we need your help!
On 25th May 2018, the new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) come into effect within the EU. This expands the rights of individuals to control how their personal information is collected and processed online and by organisations.
As your child has attended regular sessions with us then we currently keep your personal information.
We would like to continue holding this information for health and safety regulations as well as keeping you updated with important information. However to continue keeping in touch we require your consent to do so.
All information kept is solely for the use of Folkestone Junior Athletics Club and only accessible by selected members of FJAC staff and is never shared with any third party.
We will be removing all email addresses and their relevant information that choose to unsubscribe to this email. So please let us know if you want us to keep in touch (we really hope you do!)
To make sure we keep in touch please just send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
with the subject line - Keep me updated!
We will also be issuing you with new consent and signatory forms to make sure we are compliant - Please keep a look out for the letters after half term as it is important that we receive responses from all parents/carers.
If you have any queries about our policies please email us for more information.
Thank you taking the time to read this and we look forward to receiving your email and seeing you in the new half term.
Pat and the FJAC team.
